del.icio.us - is just plain tasty

Do you jump from home computer, to office computer, only to curse the fact that you left an important bookmark wherever you happen to not be?
Let’s face it, the internet is an enormously vast and ever-expanding place. You spend valuable time collecting information (or pictures of Brad Pitt) and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to manage all of these resources.
Finally, an answer: del.icio.us . Done. That’s an entire web address. Type it into your browser, and sign up for an account.
I was skeptical at first, and gave our resident designer/IT guru Jason a round of harsh questions before biting the line. I’m glad that he took the time to bring so many of us up to speed. It’s a handy tool I’ve come to rely on quite a bit.
With del.icio.us, you can manage all of your bookmarks with convenient tags from any computer, anywhere.
I use my del.icio.us account to hold on to valuable articles, catalog recipes, keep track of seasonal gardening tips and monitor favorite blogs. Because I tag everything, it’s easy to locate what I’m looking for, from anywhere. For example, I found a slam-dunk recipe for Christmas Cookies that I’d like to use again next year. Rather than printing out a sheet of paper that is destined to get lost in the abyss of my home office, I can log into my account, type “Christmas Cookies”, and del.icio.us will handle everything from there.
So organize your web life at work and home with this quick tool… you’ll get more satisfaction out of it than a freshly-organized closet, I promise.
