Marketing and Advertising are Two Industries

Marketing and Advertising are two industries that change with the turn of the leaves. If you want to be up to date and current in your knowledge try reading blogs, industry publications, and books. Over the last week I have been asked three different times what I have read over the last year and what I feel are the best books and resources I would recommend for someone in this field.

So to make it simple, I’ll pass my opinions on to the masses. Below, I have compiled a list of the publications I read, the daily or weekly blogs I read and the books I have read (in the last year). I hope you find this useful. If you feel that I have left out some really great information please feel free suggest other resources.

Publications:
• Wired
• Adweek
• Brandweek
• Advertising Age
• Fast Company
• Charlotte Biz
• Charlotte Business Journal
• Communication Arts

You list 3 books by Underhill, but Why we Buy and The Science of Shopping is the same book.
